Social and human sciences chair

Social and human sciences chair professors efforts are aimed to form comprehensive and harmonically developed creative personality from culture and arts establishment graduate. The process of students’ education comprises the development of spiritual, mental and physical abilities, formation of youth outlook and national consciousness.

Social and human sciences chair has tight connections with Lugansk State Institute of Culture and Arts specialized chairs, which allows combining student broad general cultural training with the profound knowledge of specialty. The study such social and human sciences as: cultural studies, Ukrainian history, Ukrainian language, Ukrainian, foreign and children literature, interaction psychology, creativity psychology, introduction to scientific research etc. prompts students interest to find out more about themselves, reveal and develop their creative capacities, open the values of science and arts. 

The chair has problematic scientific research groups working. Student scientific research papers prepared under the guidance of chair professors participate at all Ukrainian and regional country studies contests. Students participate at all Ukrainian students’ competitions on cultural studies and science days, traditionally conducted at LSICA in April.

The chair has developed good tradition to celebrate Slavic culture and writings days, native language international day, Shevchenko readings, organize students’ trips to historical places of Lugansk region.
